Competency-based Learning 

 

Given the challenges of assessing SEE Learning®, targeted 

competencies were developed to assist students and teachers with meaningful learning measures. The SEE Learning Enduring Capabilities are skills and types of knowledge that students can develop over time through practice and reflection.

Rubrics have been created to provide educators with easy to use proficiency measures according to established learning outcomes specific to SEE Learning traits (self-compassion, emotional awareness, etc). The rubrics and checklists are meant to be used as formative data to help guide instruction and support student engagement through ongoing observation and feedback from students.
