A professional learning community (PLC) is a group of educators who share a common goal come together to review the student feedback for the purpose of supporting student learning. The two goals of a PLC are to 1) improve educators knowledge and skills regarding what (content knowledge) and how (instructional practices) students learn and 2) improve learning outcomes from students. The concept of PLC has been around for over 60 years. It represents a shift away from isolated classroom teaching towards a more holistic approach to shared decision making and a collective sense of ownership of learning outcomes for all students.

We encourage educators to use their professional learning communities to evaluate and improve their implementation of SEE Learning. To support this effort an interactive app and guide is currently being developed. This guide will be added here when published.
